Welcome to Our New PhD Student

We are delighted to welcome Victor-George Giurcoiu as our newest PhD student, who joined us on November 4th, 2024.

About Victor

Victor-George Giurcoiu is already a familiar face in our team. Prior to starting his PhD, Victor completed his master's thesis with us, where he made significant contributions to the Prosit-PTM project, specifically working on transformer-based approaches. He also gained valuable experience as a HiWi (student assistant) during the Oktoberfest project.

Now, Victor has taken the next step in his academic journey by joining us as a PhD student on the NHPig project, where he will be focusing his research on ProteomicsDB.
