I joined the chair of Data Science in Systems Biology as a PhD student to advance the research of microRNA and transcription factor analysis at bulk and single-cell level.
My first involvement with this group was when I contributed to a project on PPI interaction networks and isoform switch detection during my bachelor's and master's studies in Bioinformatics.
My master's thesis and a preceding student research project at Helmholtz Munich explored the impact of batch effects on single-cell RNAseq data and batch-aware feature selection methods on such datasets for spatial transcriptomics.
During tutoring lectures on algorithms and networks at LMU, I deepened my understanding in these fields and found joy in teaching.
