I am currently working as a PhD student on the NHPig project, titled "Reducing Non-Human Primates in Non-Clinical Safety Assessment: The European Initiative on Minipig and Micropig Models" (https://www.nhpig.eu/). My research focuses on developing a central database and self-service intelligence for integrative multi-omics analysis.
Previously, I worked as a student research assistant, contributing to the Prosit project and the development of the "Oktoberfest" tool. My academic background is in bioinformatics, with both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the field. In my master’s thesis, I explored encoding strategies for post-translational modifications (PTMs) using the Prosit Transformer architecture and proposed an adjustment to the masked spectral distance to account for overlapping peaks.
