Advanced Bioinformatics (IN2399): Prof. Kamal is involved in the compulsory Bachelor's course in Bioinformatics.
Genetics and Genomics: Prof. Kamal contributes to this module for Master's students in Agricultural Biosciences and Molecular Biotechnology.
Einführung in die computergestützte Datenanalyse und Bioinformatik für Pflanzentranskriptomik und RNA-seq : in this course students work in small teams over the course of the semester on a project to gain hands-on experience in bioinformatics and computational data analysis. The goal is to develop essential skills through the analysis of a real-world project and to engage deeply with the bioinformatic evaluation of plant transcriptome and RNA-seq data.
NGS Datenanalyse: CPB participates in this intensive practical course on the analysis of sequencing data.
Forschungsmodul: Computational Plant Genomics: A research internship for students of Biology, Agricultural Biosciences, and Molecular Biotechnology, usually conducted with one-on-one supervision in our facilities. The scope is approximately 110 - 120 hours and is typically completed part-time over a period of 6–8 weeks. There is currently a waiting list for this internship.
Winter Semester 24/25
Fundamentals of Computational Data Analysis and Bioinformatics for Plant Transcriptomics and RNA-seq : In this course, students work in small teams over the course of the semester on a project to gain practical experience in bioinformatics and computational data analysis. The goal is to acquire the necessary skills through the hands-on analysis of a real project and to engage deeply with the bioinformatic evaluation of plant transcriptomics and RNA-seq data.
Crop Genomics : Lecture with integrated practical sessions on plant genomics research. CPB contributes to the transcriptomics section.
NGS Datenanalyse: CPB is involved in this intensive course focused on the analysis of sequencing data.
