Dr. Luz Quebrada performs research in phage biology. She uses different in-vitro and ex-vivo models to elucidate the interaction between phages, pathogenic bacteria, and mammal cells. She is also interested in understanding the host immune response during treatment based on phages and its impact on the outcomes of phage therapy.
