Research Interests
Exercise Physiology and Skeletal Muscle Biology
Passionately curious! As a postdoctoral researcher associated with the Helmholtz Institute for Diabetes and Cancer and the Technical University of Munich, I am dedicated to understand molecular and cellular principles related to metabolic disease. My expertise relies on the exercise biology field, understanding the molecular roles of exercise to counteract metabolic dysfunction and improve health. My current project investigates the role of the ubiquitin-proteasome system on muscle remodeling in response to exercise and cancer cachexia.
