Research Interests

Adipocyte biology

I am a PhD student researching the role of lipid droplets in oxidative stress management in adipocytes, with a particular focus on ferroptosis. To explore these processes and their broader implications, I utilize mouse models of obesity to study the metabolic and cellular mechanisms driving lipid metabolism under stress conditions. With a background in biomedicine, I am dedicated to advancing our understanding of how lipid droplets and lipid metabolism contribute to health and disease.
